What Actually Happens in a CaliUnity Session?
Ever wondered what it’s really like to join a CaliUnity class in Bath? You might be asking yourself: What do we actually do? How does it work?
We get it — starting something new can feel intimidating. Traditional gyms can leave you lost, surrounded by machines, mirrors, and not much support. At CaliUnity, it’s different. Our Bath fitness community is designed for everyday people who want to feel stronger, move better, and actually enjoy training.
Here’s how a typical CaliUnity session runs — start to finish.
Step 1: Arrive — this hour is for you
You turn up, and this is your time. An hour to switch off from work, family, and the to-do list. To get out of your head and into your body.
Step 2: A warm welcome
Our front of house team check you in, say hello, and make sure you feel seen from the moment you walk in. You’re not just a number — we know your name.
Grab a coffee on the house or water, drop your bag and shoes, then head upstairs.
Step 3: Meet your coach
Your CaliUnity coach explains the plan for the session, walks you through how to scale movements back if needed, or progress them if you’re ready for more.
👉 Our coaches are there to fine-tune your technique so you’re moving strong, safe, and confident.
Step 4: The session itself
Every class is different, so you never get bored. We run a mix of:
- Faster-paced circuits for energy and variety
- Strength training to build confidence, tone, and power
- Restorative mobility to move freely, ease aches, and recover well
This is calisthenics-based training — safe, effective, and empowering, no matter your starting point.
Step 5: Connection and community
You laugh, connect, and meet people who get it. Our group training sessions in Bath are supportive, social, and fun — not intimidating.

Step 6: Leave on a high
Every session ends with high fives all round. You leave stronger, clearer in your head, and on a proper endorphin high.
