This Week at CaliUnity: Movement, Free Stuff, and Wins

At CaliUnity, every week brings new stories, progress, and lessons. Here’s a look back at what we’ve shared with our community this week — from powerful movements to free resources you can start using straight away.

Healing Shoulders with Skin the Cat

We explored why Skin the Cat is one of the best calisthenics movements for shoulder health. It builds strength and mobility through the full range of motion — helping people train smarter, heal old aches, and move with freedom.

Our coaches broke down exactly how to perform the movement with control — ideally starting from a pull-up. This is about strength and skill, not just flinging yourself upside down. We also introduced progressions into other skills like back levers and front levers.

Teen Classes

Due to popular demand, we’ve been running classes for teen girls with full attendance. The outreach from our Cali Foundation is making waves, making fitness and wellbeing accessible to everyone of all ages.

Classes throughout the week

We were proud as always to see so many members coming to the classes, having a blast, expanding their skills. The open gym slots also got a lot of use.

Free Resources for Everyone

We launched a collection of free guides and checklists on our website — no sign-up, no catch. You’ll find:
🤸‍♀️ Handstand, pull-up, and muscle-up progressions
💪 Practical advice for training around pain and injury
🧘‍♀️ Simple mobility flows for home
🥑 Nutrition support that actually fits everyday life

Why This Matters

Our mission is to make fitness accessible for everyone in Bath and beyond. Whether you’re working on your first pull-up, moving pain-free for the first time in years, or building consistency with mobility, we’ve got something for you.
